Abolishment of Resit System
Please be informed that the Faculty of Engineering
has resolved that students will no longer be allowed to take a resit for any
module failed if the module is taken in or after Semester I, 2000/2001.
However, the Faculty will continue to offer resits in
Semester I, 2000/2001 for modules failed in Semester II, 1999/2000. Students
are to note that class attendance for lectures, tutorials and laboratory
sessions is required for all retake attempts and CA marks will be included.
In cases where there are
clashes in the class/exam schedules, the respective departments will advise
their students accordingly.
