Degree Requirements

AY 2006/2007 Intake and Earlier

In order to graduate from the B.Tech. (Mechanical Engineering) programme, students are required to complete at least 90 MCs (Modular Credits) with a minimum CAP of 2.0, comprising 15 Essential Modules, 9 Elective Modules (out of which 6 must be from Mechanical Engineering specialization), 2 Examinable Enrichment Modules and 1 Dissertation.

For the B.Tech. (Manufacturing Engineering) programme, students are required to complete at least 84 MCs (Modular Credits) with a minimum CAP of 2.0, comprising 15 Essential Modules, 7 Elective Modules (out of which 5 must be from Manufacturing Engineering specialization), 2 Examinable Enrichment Modules and 1 Dissertation.
