Applications For Admission
We have now introduced two (2) intakes each year for ALL our B.TECH
programmes. Intake I commencing August and Intake II commencing January in each
Academic Year.

AY2009/2010 Intake I (Intake commencing Aug 09) is now open. Interested applicants are requested to apply at http://btech.eng.nus.edu.sg/btechAdm/.
Closing date and time for applications is on 19th Dec 08 at 3pm.
Notes:
* Applications submitted after the closing deadline WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
* Applicants may be short listed to sit for compulsory admission test(s) and/or interview.

Admission test(s): The test(s) will be held in Feb/Mar 09. Short listed applicants will be notified through email early Jan 09.

Interview: The interview will be held in Mar/Apr 09. Short listed applicants will be notified through email in Mar 09.

Foundation Courses
The Foundation Courses are short refresher courses, specially designed to strengthen the foundation of students in mathematics and basic engineering topics so that they will be better able to cope with the B.TECH programme if they are admitted and have better chances of doing well in their courses. These courses are conducted by Professional Activities Centre (PAC) in the Faculty of Engineering at NUS. The courses which are available are Mathematics, Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Mathematics is suitable for any B.TECH course applied for while the discipline-based courses are specific only to the B.TECH course applied for, for example Chemical Engineering for the B.TECH (Chemical) course. These courses are optional and attendance is not required for admission to the B.TECH Programme. It is entirely up to each individual if he/she wishes to attend.
The fees are $420 for any one foundation course and $770 for two courses. There is a one-time non-refundable application fee of $20.
