Overview
The Bachelor of Technology
Programme is currently offering four part-time programmes
leading to the degree of Bachelor of Technology in:
Chemical Engineering
Electronics Engineering
Industrial and Management Engineering
Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering
It is a high-quality part-time evening programme introduced in response to the
strong aspirations of the large number of polytechnic graduates working in the
local industry to upgrade themselves towards an engineering degree.

These four-year part-time programmes are designed for diploma holders who wish
to strengthen their practical knowledge with theoretical foundation to prepare
them to take up more advanced and challenging engineering assignments including
industrial research and development, management of high level technical work
and also in fields where a solid foundation of engineering knowledge is
required.

| It provides an affordable avenue for these graduates to pursue a
relevant degree course without having to give up their full-time jobs, their
families or going overseas. The modular structure of the course enables
students to study at their own desired pace depending upon their family and
work commitments. These courses are fully accredited by relevant engineering
bodies and meet the academic requirements for membership of the Institution of
Engineers, Singapore (IES).
